Camp Mont Shenandoah provides a traditional summer camp experience for girls between the ages of 7 and 16. Nestled in the Allegheny Mountains along the pristine Cowpasture River in Bath County, Camp Mont Shenandoah is one of Virginia’s oldest and best loved overnight camps.
At Camp Mont Shenandoah, you’ll create memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. We offer a multitude of traditional camp activities including swimming, archery, tennis, sports and arts & crafts, as well as a comprehensive horse-riding program. Guided by our outstanding staff in a safe and beautiful environment, our campers build strong hearts and character as they develop their self-confidence and leadership skills.
Camp Mont Shenandoah offers a six-week session, two three-week sessions, and a one week-long session, called Roots & Shoots. If you are interested in becoming a CMS girl, we encourage you to send your registration form early as available spaces tend to fill quickly.
The full camp season is six weeks, which begins in June. We accept a limited number of three-week campers for two separate sessions within the six weeks.
Six Weeks: June 26 – August 7
First Three Weeks: June 26 – July 17
Second Three Weeks: July 18 – August 7
